This book is totally inspired by God. I am not a writer, but God wrote a Best Seller. This book was inspired about 2 months following my son, Jason’s “high profile murder trial”. This “Tragedy” is something that could happen to anyone on any given day. The early morning hours of June 28th, 2008 just happened to be my day. Never in my life did I ever think for one split second that our family would ever experience anything like this. But the call came at 2:00 a.m. on June 27th, 2008 just the same! How did this happen? Why did this happen? Upstanding citizens of the community, Christians, always trying to give back, always are trying to do what’s right.
- Bad things do happen to Good people, but do you “Blame God or Trust God”?
- Surviving Tragedy without losing Faith
- God still provides Miracle’s Today
- In’s and Out’s of the “Legal System”
- Preparing your Heart for a “Murder Trial”
- Finding Peace in the Valley of the “Shadow of Death”
- Prosecutors are Big and Powerful, but God is Bigger and more Powerful! Amen

“The Bridge” takes you on the journey of “utter helplessness” that our family endured, and the strong Faith that brought us to the place of Victory. Ten long months we lived in the very pit of hell where Satan viciously attacked our family continuously. Day after day after day after day. But on April 16th, 2009 Thursday afternoon, 3:40 in the afternoon, Coweta County Courthouse, Third Floor Courtroom, “The Jury has reached a decision”, Jason, “please rise”. And GOD SHOWED UP!!!
Georgia Justice: A Journey of Faith is a true story of the author’s journey beginning with the belief she had a lot of faith to the stunning realization that the faith she had did not even begin to measure up to where it needed to be when tragedy struck. Jackie Carpenter realized that when her son’s arrest for felony murder turned her life upside down and the faith she relied upon was not turning her right-side up!
Every day and night after her son was falsely charged with felony murder, the author was assaulted by Satan who created fear, doubt, terror, nightmares and daymares, and deep depression. Only in her prayer closet could Jackie Carpenter find peace and faith and pointers on how to build her faith.
Georgia Justice then becomes a story of faith-building – a how to guide of what it takes to escape from the tightening grips of doubt and depression and begin the journey to renewed and strengthened faith, hope, and ultimate victory.
